The corporate world has been asking for one for some time and it is with great excitement this announcement today is being met. The IBM ThinkPad web site now has the X41 Tablet PC officially unveiled with a 3D virtual tour of the black convertible. The most interesting items revealed in the specs is the fact Lenovo chose to go with an XGA (1024 x 768) screen even though the X41 has a 12.1" LCD. The screen offers a 170 degree viewing angleIt is readily apparent the X41 Tablet PC is a beautiful design and the light weight (3.5 pounds) makes this a mobile professional's dream. The X41 can run up to 6.3 hours on the optional 8 cell battery. As expected, the X41 Tablet PC has the same ports and connectivity options that are present on the X41 notebook, and the optional X4 dock can also work with both the Tablet and the notebook versions.
