Inkerville

I ink, therefore I am.

Call for ink-enabled photographers

I have been contacted by a listener who is interested in how Tablets can be leveraged in the field by photographers.   It seems to me that Tablet PCs would be perfect as a photographer's tool in the field and also a capable photo editing station due to the digitizer.  If there are any photographers who are currently using a Tablet I would love to speak to you about it and even have you on a future Tablet PC Show.   Either leave a message for me here on the blog or shoot me an email, pun intended. :)

The tablet is great for grabbing and cropping pictures even when the ole Print Screen button won't work, the Snagit tools are great!

The only downside of using a tablet for an editing station is the need for keyboard shortcuts. I am no professional photographer by any means, but the abilty to use shotcuts increases productivity imensly. I used to use a Wacom tablet and keyboard before tablets hit the Windows OS and found increased productivity. I am going to start using Active Words for the Tablet and see how that works out, so far so good... :)
